About Melvin Anthony

Melvin is an IFBB professional bodybuilder who grew up in a middle class family. He started lifting weights when he was just a teenager. At the age of 18 his body was enough mature to get him football scholarship. After he hurt his knee in college he started taking part in bodybuilding competitions. Muscle mania 1993 was the first major contest of Melvin where he came to 3rd place. His first NPC (National Physique Committee) competition held in 1995 where he won in heavy weight category. Night Of Champions was Melvin's first IFBB competition in 2000 where he managed deserving 2nd place. His first appearance in Arnold Classic was also got him to 2nd place in 2001 and in the same year he came to 11th place in Mr Olympia competition. He is one of the best poser in the bodybuilding history. He won almost every award of best posing in his every competition.

He is an IFBB professional bodybuilder. At the initial stage of his life he was a good baseball player in the school and even in the high school. But he has also interested in lifting weights and because of which he injured himself during weight lifting and his career in baseball was effected badly. After that he left school and went to join U.S Air force. This decision was made by him because he was father at that time. But later on he was told by his mentor to go in bodybuilding sport as he has something in him for this. His first ever professional competition was in 1966 which was NPC (National Physique Committee) where he placed 8th. His first IFBB appearance was in 2003 in Arnold Classic where he managed 10th place for him. Same year he competed in Mr Olympia competition where he took 8th place in his first Mr Olympia contest. He is well known for his symmetrical and muscular body.

Art Atwood was American IFBB professional bodybuilder. His first competition was back in 2000 which was NPC (National Physique Committee) where he won his first professional bodybuilding title. About Flex Wheeler

Every body is familiar with the name Flex Wheeler, an impressive retired IFBB professional bodybuilder. He made his mark when ever he stood on any competition stage. He did not win Mr Olympia competition but came to 2nd place on three different occasions. His greatness was described by the greatest Arnold Schwarzenegger that '' he is one of the best bodybuilder i have ever seen''. 8 times Mr Olympia winner Ronnie Coleman said that '' Flex Wheeler was the best bodybuilder against whom he competed".


Flex Wheeler grew up in a very poor family in California. His child hood was not good to be remembered as he suffered from child abuse and suicidal tendencies. He was never good at studies but excellent in sports. After discovering about weight lifting he started bodybuilding when he was a teenager. Flex was first a martial artist then a bodybuilder as it was said by himself. Before coming totally to bodybuilding he serve as a Police Officer. His first competition was in 1983 but he had to wait till 6 years to registered his first win in 1989 at NPC Mr California Championships. He went back to martial arts after taking retirement from professional bodybuilding sport. In 2003 he went under a kidney transplant.

About Gary Strydom

Gary Strydom is the IFBB professional bodybuilder. He has a muscular physique with impressive maturity. He already won different competitions on many occasion but still never get chance to grab Mr Olympia title. When he appeared in his first Mr Olympia competition he saved 5th place in his pocket, it was the year of 1988. Unfortunately it was his first and the only performance in Mr Olympia competition. After that he never competed in the biggest bodybuilding competition. He is also the only man to win two consecutive competitions under the banner of WBF (World Bodybuilding Federation). As there are many franchises were standing in the line so WBF did not survive more than 2 years. After the down fall of WBF Gary took a long break from competing in any bodybuilding professional competitions in the mid of 1990's.

About Hidetada Yamagishi

Hidetada Yamagishi is a Japanese born. He is the first Japanese man ever to compete in the Mr Olympia competition and was invited in Arnold Classic. His first appearance in Mr Olympia competition was back in 2007. At the early stage of his life he played rugby. He started lifting weights at very young age. At that time he does not lift weights to become a professional bodybuilder. When later on he went to Waseda University for higher education then he took weight lifting as a serious job to do. He also became very famous by appearing in different magazines, TV shows and bodybuilding DVDs. In the year 2008 at 8th of January Hidetada caught for using steroids and held by California Police. He was in prison 65 days in America. After releasing he lost most of his gains. But by working  he came back on track and still competing in professional bodybuilding competitions. He has a degree in Sports Nutrition Science.

About Nasser El Sonbaty

Nasser El Sonbaty was the IFBB professional bodybuilder. He born in Germany and died in Egypt. His father is from Egypt and mother belongs to Serbia. He had a degree of graduation in history, political science and sociology. He done his graduation from University Of Augsburg. Including Nasser had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He began training in 1983. He take part in his first competition in 1985 in Junior Championship in Germany. In that competition he came to 6th place. His first appearance in the Mr Olympia brought him on 7th place in the year 1994. He competed in many different events including 53 appearances in IFBB competitions. He qualify for 10 times consecutively for the Mr Olympia competition and his best placing in Mr Olympia competition was 2nd place in the year 1997. He was well known for his posing routine by wearing spectacles. People gave him the nick name 'The Professor' because of his ability to speak several languages. He died on 20th March, 2013 during while he was sleeping.

BERTIL FOX THE BRUTAL

About Bertil Fox

Bertil was born on the eastern Caribbean island of St. Kitts. One year later he moved with his family to London. He did not go back to Kitts for more than 40 years and said that ' I am 100% British I talk and act like a British Not like some one who came from West Indies. He entered in the bodybuilding by the encouragement of his cousin. At the age of 18 he won the title of Junior Mr Britain in 1969. After that he nearly win every competition out of IFBB. Before turning into the field of bodybuilding as a professional Bertil worked as a train driver on London Underground. In 1981 Joe Weider sponsored Bertil to Los Angeles. He then competed in IFBB Professional competitions for 13 years.

In 1952 he returned to Kitts and on 30th September 1997 two women shot by Bertil. These two women had also engaged with the murderer. Later in 1998 on 20th May Bertil was proven the murderer of two women and sentenced to death. But after the appeal his death sentence was changed into life in prison.

About Serge Nubret

Serge Nubret was the French professional bodybuilder, actor and author. He got very impressive physique. His popularity mostly came after the movie 'Pumping Iron' 1975 when he finishes 2nd after Arnold Schwarzenegger. He won many awards but his most popular ones are Mr Europe (1970), Mr Universe (1976) and Mr World (1977). He was born in Guadeloupe in 1938 and after a happy childhood he moved to France in 1950 along with his family. He realizes that he got some athletic potential in 1958 then he decided to built a career in bodybuilding as he quoted that this is his 'reason for being'. After only 2 years of training he said that he will be the world champion soon and living up to his word in 1960 he became World's Most Muscular Man in Montreal. After that he improve with every competition and also wins different prestigious titles but not able to win Mr Olympia. 

His best performance in Mr Olympia was back in 1975 where he came to 2nd place. At the age of 65 he became the World Champion in Rome which is a great motivation for today's youngster. He not only show his talent on stage but also do his duty back stage as well. He was the head of France and Europe IFBB bodybuilding federation from 1970 to 1975. As he was the popular character among fans so cinema try not to miss a hit on him. He was featured in 25 movies and did a good job as an actor. He fell to coma in 2009 and died in 2011.

About Gunter Schlierkamp

Gunter Schlierkamp was the German IFBB Pro bodybuilder. He is retired now. He born in Germany where he grew up at the farm. One of his friend said that Gunter is very nice person I found him smiling every time no matter he was facing a problem or not. In 2006 he married to Carmen Jourst and moved to USA and after some time he divorced. He married again in 2007 with the American personal trainer Kim Lyons. He is always the fan favorites. In 2005 Mr Olympia competition he placed on 4th position which was his best position in Mr Olympia contest until his retirement. After doing this he started training with legendary trainer Charles Glass. Charles was the same man because of whose training Gunter finishes above 8 times Mr Olympia in 2002 GNC show Of Strength. But Gunter's hope to improve in 2006 Mr Olympia competition by training with Charles was not fulfilled and coming on 10th place. In that same year he was offered a role in American movie Beerfest.

UNCROWNED LOU FERRIGNO

About Lou Ferrigno

Lou Ferrigno is the retired professional bodybuilder and an American trainer. In his bodybuilding career his best titles were Mr America and Mr Universe. He is well known for his role in the movie Pumping Iron staring Arnold and others. And as an actor he is still known for his role in a TV series as The Incredible Hulk. He also appears in Sinbad Of Seven Seas and Hercules etc. His father Matt Ferrigno was the police lieutenant. As the Lou Ferrigno was born he suffered form the ears infection which was not cured until he was 3 years old. He started training when he was only 13 years old.


He was unable to win the Mr Olympia title but made a name in history with impressive physique. After his graduation in 1969 he wins the title of Mr America. He trained with Arnold Schwarzenegger who was his best competitor. In his first appearance in Mr Olympia competition gave him a second place. With all these wins he was not financially stable so he works in Brooklyn Factory for 10$ per hour. Lou Ferrigno's competition weight was 130 kg in 1975 and 142 kg in the year 1992. He also competed in Worlds Strongest Man 1977 where he finishes 4th out of 8 competitors. He retired after competing last time in 1996.

Another name in the bodybuilding sport is the Zack King Khan. Zack is the IFBB professional bodybuilder. He never competed in Mr Olympia competition but people are saying that may be he will be the future Mr Olympia. With this type of huge physique he is the first Pakistan born person who won the IFBB UK British Championships 2009. He also won the Mansfield in 1998. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are Zack's inspiration. He is living Sheffield now a days. He also made the commercial DVD with other bodybuilders including Neil Hill and John Madourie. The name of the DVD is 'King Khan'. His video is very popular because in this DVD he lifts massive 220 kg in bench press, 90 kg in biceps curl and 180 kg in barbell. About Johnnie Jackson

Johnnie Jackson is one of the great bodybuilder of all time. He trained with Branch Warren. Johnnie has the most beautiful upper body maturation but his overall appearance with legs is not so astonishing because of which he is not able to win Mr Olympia.


As by seeing the above picture one can say that Johnnie got one most amazing upper body in all of the history of bodybuilding but it does not go well with the legs. He is a bodybuilder as well as the power lifter and usually known as the worlds strongest bodybuilder. His first appearance in IFBB competition was in 2002 in Show Of Strength where he placed 10th but in 2003 at the Night of Champions he emerges to 5th place. His most wins were in the light weight category. His first ever Mr Olympia competition was of 2003 where he came to 11th spot and first Arnold Classic appearance was in 2006 placing on 13th there. He is the current USPF world record holder of pulling 345 kg in dead lift. He win the title ' Mr Olympia 2009 Worlds Strongest Professional Bodybuilder' by lifting 523 lbs on bench press and dead lifting 815 lbs. His personal best was came in 2012 22 January in Raw Unity Dead lift competition where he manages to dead lift 832 lbs in his 3rd and final attempt at the age of 40.

About Roelly Winklaar

Another name in the bodybuilding sport or one can say that another new emerging name in bodybuilding Roelly Winklaar probably the first big man with a tattoo on his abs competing in Mr Olympia competition. He got the massive physique with good biceps. His best placing in the Mr Olympia competition was in 2015 contest where he came to 7th place. He won different competitions including his first Arnold Amateur Championships in 2009. When Roelly got his pro card he returned to IFBB Arnold Classic in 2010 where his physique makes a statement that he is a site to watch. In that competition he came to 7th position but this was his strong performance making a mark in bodybuilding competition. After his debut 7th place he competed in IFBB Australia Pro Grand Prix 2010 where he came to 3rd place again making a statement. But his name was then dig deep when he won 2010 New York Pro where no one can thought that Roelly can win the New York Pro.

By taking a look at Shawn's record of competing one can easily say that he was placed in the best of all time bodybuilders, because over his 30 competitions Shawn placed in top five positions 29 times. Shawn is the bodybuilder who appears most number of times on Flexible Magazine cover than anybody else. He also appeared in many others. He also works for ESPN on different shows for many years as the commentator, trainer, host etc. He is very humble person having a great soul as he works and donate a lot money to children hospital also taken help by his other bodybuilding fellows. Shawn never wins the Mr Olympia title and retires after competing in 2001 Mr Olympia competition. Now a days Shawn is working with a company which makes shaker in Sweden. Shawn married in 2003 and have two daughters Asia Monet and Bella Blu. After retiring long ago from professional bodybuilding Shawn is still connected with it by opening ceremony, seminars or by other events in the bodybuilding sport.

About Victor Martinez

Victor Martinez is the IFBB professional bodybuilder and still competing for Mr Olympia competition. He came on 9th place in 2015 Mr Olympia. He is the only 2nd Dominican man to be a pro bodybuilder. His first competition was in 1997 which was at National Physique Committee. He won that competition in light weight category. Victor's first appearance in Mr Olympia competition was in 2004 where he managed 9th place but showing impressive hard working he came to 2nd place in 2007 Mr Olympia where Jay Cutler won the title. Ronnie Coleman predicted that Victor will be the Mr Olympia because he have what it takes to be a Mr Olympia. After wining Arnold Europe in Madrid, Spain he was returning to U.S and arrested for his expire resident card. Because he was found guilty in 2004 for selling drugs there fore his permanent resident card was not renewed. He was arrested and spend sometime in jail where he lost his gains. When he came back to jail he looked like this:

 Victor got the most dominant physique in the history of bodybuilding but because of he was arrested and suffers from injures, not able to win Mr Olympia. About Lee Priest

Lee born and grew up in Australia. Lee's mother was also a professional bodybuilder sometimes posed with his son on stage. With the help of his grandfather Lee started training at the age of 12. His first ever competition was at the age of 13 and he successfully won it. He then never look back and started taking part in other competitions and started wining. He wins Mr Australia title 3 years in a row at the age of 17, 18 and 19 but did not pro card in Australia because of his young age. Then he decided to compete in amateur competition. At Niagara fall championships Lee was given his pro card and become the youngest man to turn IFBB pro at the age of 20. In the professional career of bodybuilding Lee competed for 16 years. Arnold Schwarzenegger is the biggest inspiration for Lee. 


He got the impressive physique with the huge arms but never win the Mr Olympia title. His best position in the Mr Olympia competition is on 6th place where he stands 3 times, one in 1997, second in 2000 ant the third time in 2002. Lee is also a racer and wins several races. He started racing in 2002 and well known in road racing and circle tracks. He also won Rookie of the year in 2005. He made his name in racing mostly in drag racing. Now a days Lee is doing some TV projects, he also done some movies as well but not popular in acting as much he was in bodybuilding.

About Branch Warren

Branch Warren is the IFBB professional bodybuilder. He wins many competitions but still unable to win the Mr Olympia title. He born in Texas. Branch loves doing a farmer job, love to ride a horse in short one can say he loves to be a village guy. He is 40 years old and still one of the hardest trainer in the bodybuilding history. By seeing his bodybuilding or weightlifting training videos you can simply be just motivated. He trains like a beast and well known for this in the sport. 


Now a days he trains with Johnnie Jackson at Metro-flex gym. Branch's wife Trish Warren was the IFBB fitness competitor. They have two daughters. Branch also runs a gym and freight company of his own. Branch is one of the most hard working man in the bodybuilding but not register a single win in the Mr Olympia competition.

Shawn Rhoden is the IFFB professional bodybuilder still competing in the Mr Olympia contest. He born in Jamaica and in the year 1990 he moved to United States and starts living in Maryland. In that period of his life he suffered through the alcohol addiction but fight back to remove this habit from his life and overcome the problem in 2012. He has a very impressive competition record. He wins many contests but still trying to win the Mr Olympia title. In this year he came to 3rd place in Mr Olympia competition. Like Markus Ruhl, Shawn is also a soccer player in his teen age. Yohnnie Shambourger, former Mr Universe is the inspiration for Shawn Rhoden to get start lifting weights and become a professional bodybuilder. Shawn started training in 1992 and win his first professional competition title in 2010.

Another big man in the bodybuilding history named as Markus Ruhl. He wins different contests on different occasion but unable to grab the Mr Olympia title. In the very young age he started playing soccer. At the age of 18 he suffers from the knee injury during the play. He went to doctor and in a very short time he sustain the injury. After seeing this doctor advised him to start lifting weights. And from there on Markus started lifting weights at the age of 18. He started taking participate in the competition after 5 years of training. He is well known for his big shoulders which helps him to look more wider than normal. Mamdouh who he better known for his nickname 'Big Ramy' is Kuwaiti bodybuilder who born in Egypt. Big Ramy started training in 2009. It is very hard to believe that only after three years of training Ramy win his first title which is 2012 Amateur Olympia Kuwait. He is a big guy with big muscles. In 2015 Mr Olympia he broke the record of most heavy competitor on the stage with a weight of 316 lbs. He is well known for his huge back bigger than even the great Jay Cutler.
  

Look at the picture above. If some one ask you about the 2015 Mr Olympia winner that who is the winner tell by seeing this picture you can tell by the huge difference in size that the guy in left. But this is not true the guy in right is the current 5 times Mr Olympia Phil Heath and Big Ramy is on the left side. You not gonna believe it that Bog Ramy comes to 5th pace with this huge physique and appearance. But to be big is not enough for the politics of Olympia. Every one is talking about Kai that because Kai was not in the Mr Olympia competition Phil win it easily. But see the big guy in the picture , Big Ramy definitely is more bigger than the Mr Olympia. But no one can change the results. On the other hand Big Ramy's position in the Mr Olympia competition is improving year by year. He comes to 8th place in 2013 Mr Olympia, 7th in the 2014 Mr Olympia and 5th in the 2015 Mr Olympia.

About Kevin Levrone

Kevin is a former IFFB professional bodybuilder and in the Hall Of Fame. He is the youngest of his six brothers and sisters. He started lifting at a very young age. He lift 110 pound set at the age of 11. He always know that he has a ability to lift more as compared to his others age fellows. Eddie Robinson is the inspiration for the young Kevin Levrone. Kevin also follow Lee Haney workout routine and diet plan by reading the magazines. He said that 'Arnold bring fun to the sport he made it look so easy'. Kevin competed in 67 IFFB competitions in his bodybuilding career. He wins total of 26 pro shows and the 2nd man after Ronnie Coleman to win most numbers of the competitions. He is also a musician and actor. He is known as the muscle machine because of his huge physique and muscle maturity. 
Unfortunately he was unable to win Mr Olympia title but came to 2nd place 4 times (1992, 1995, 2000, 2002). He is retire from professional bodybuilding but his name is listed in the top bodybuilders of the history of the sport. AAU Mr. Maryland 1989 was the first show where Kevin participated. It was mix bodybuilding and power lifting competition. Kevin wins in power lifting category by lifting 435 pounds on bench press. At Junior Nationals Kevin was defeated by Paul Demayo. Then Kevin thinks that he showed quit the game because of depression but Jim Manion trained him like a father and Kevin wins the Nationals. In this competition the winning trophy is presented by Lee Haney to Kevin then he realizes that his future is only in bodybuilding.

If you are a bodybuilding fan then you definitely familiar with the name of Kai Greene "Mr. Getting It Done". He was born in New York. His physique show very impressive genetics change in early age. After winning 1999 NPC he took 5 year break form the competitions. He make his come back in 2004 NPC competition and again wins. This victory register his name to make career in IFFB professional bodybuilder. One of the most popular uncrowned champion of today. Great physique, great muscle maturity and with the great posing style he is very popular in the bodybuilding world. He is the biggest rival of today's Mr Olympia Phil Heath. Phil is now 5 times champion but the competition is becoming high and high. Kai was not able to take part in the 2015 Mr Olympia on which he said that he was not allowed to take participate in the competition.
  

Look at the picture of Kai Greene. It is his shape of 2015. Now by seeing it how can you say that Phil will win 2015 Mr Olympia competition easily, but this was happened. Phil was the winner of 2015 Mr Olympia easily because there is no Kai. Some of the people said that if there is no Kai then there is no Mr Olympia. And it was true, without Kai 2015 competition was just look so boring and the result even worse. There is a video on internet posted before the start of Mr Olympia by Kai Greene in which he cried and tell that because of politics he was not allowed to take part in the competition and there is a lot going on behind the scenes. 


But the past is past the thing which was not done or left behind you can not do anything about that. Kai soon in his bodybuilding career become famous because of his unique style of posing. He pose and dance at the same time which is so pleasant for the eyes to watch. Now a days Kai is with the Dynamik muscle a supplement named after him. The last word in Dynamik (K) stands for Kai Greene. Dynamik muscle start working with Kai because of his popularity. Kai is more famous bodybuilder than even the 5 times Mr Olympia Phil heath as he got more fan following on social media than Phil. No doubt right now Kai is in the best shape of his life but can he do it again in next years Mr Olympia competition? That will be the question.
