About Frank Zane

Frank Zane was the student of Wilkes University and done his Bachelors of science from there in 1964. He taught mathematics and chemistry for 13 years. Due to the degree of Bachelors of science he was given nick name 'The Chemist'. He takes his master's degree from Cal States in Experimental Psychology in 1990.

The above information shows you that during the years of winning bodybuilding competition he also carry on to his studies. Frank Zane is the winner of Mr Olympia competition 3 times in a row that is 1977 to 1979. After Franco Columbu wins his first title in 1976 the consecutive 3 years belong to Frank Zane before the come back of Arnold in 1980. According to him 1980 Mr Olympia's result was a controversial one like it has always been but his boycott in 1981 Mr Olympia did not make any difference to the officials of the competition. 

   

It was a rumor that Frank has crushed his 1980 Mr Olympia trophy after coming in 3rd. In the bodybuilding history Frank has the thinnest waist after Sergio Oliva. He has also written many books on bodybuilding. He is among the three man who beat Arnold in the competition. Now a days Frank is the owner and running a learning center which is called as Zane Experience. In 2006 Frank started his own website which is www.frankzane.com.
